How much does Markate cost in 2026?

Home / Guides

Markate's base price, what the Team plan adds per employee, the add-ons that are billed on top, and what a one-person shop pays once the pieces it wants are turned on.

Short answer: Markate's Owner Operator plan is $49.95 a month billed monthly, or $45.95 a month paid as $551.40 for the year. The Team plan is the same base plus $5 a month per employee. Many features are sold as add-ons on top, most at $10 a month each. Fourteen-day free trial, no card. Read from markate.com/pricing on October 28, 2026.

The base plans

  • Owner Operator: $49.95 a month billed monthly, or $45.95 a month on a $551.40 annual payment. Leads, jobs, estimates, invoicing and payments, expenses, time tracking, customer management.
  • Team: the same base price plus $5 a month per employee for app access.

The add-ons

This is where the Markate price gets decided. The pricing page lists more than twenty items billed separately. Among them, as read on October 28, 2026:

  • Sales proposal templates: $10 a month.
  • Online booking: $10 a month. Lead capture contact form: $10 a month.
  • Branded customer portal: $10 a month. Zapier: $10 a month. API access: $50 a month.
  • Business phone number: $10 a month, with call forwarding another $10, or bring your own number at $10.
  • Automated review requests: $10 a month. Review site integration: $10 a month.
  • SMS drip campaigns at 10 cents a message. Postcards at $1.10 each. A phone receptionist at $1 a call.

A one-person shop that wants proposal templates, a customer portal, and automated review requests is at $49.95 plus $30, about $80 a month, before a phone number or online booking. The base price is not the price.

Terms worth knowing

No contract. Monthly or annual. The page says refunds are not offered for early cancellation within a billing period, and that add-ons for annual members are billed annually, so an add-on turned on in month two of an annual plan is a year of that add-on.

What we charge, and what we do not do

BidWriter Pro is $29 a month, charged monthly, or $290 for a year. Everything is on the one plan: proposal templates and packages, e-signature, card deposits and balances, invoices, automatic follow-ups, review requests, photos. There is nothing to add on. We do not do a phone system, postcards, drip campaigns, or online booking. If you want marketing tools inside your job software and are happy to pay for them one at a time, Markate has them. The side by side is here.
