An optional extra on a bid that the customer can tick to include, with its own price, like a gutter guard on a gutter job.

Add-ons let the contractor offer the small extras they would otherwise forget to mention: the guard, the sealer, the second coat, the extra outlet. Each is a line with a price and a box. The customer adds the ones they want and the total updates.

They work because they are asked at the moment of yes, on the bid, rather than as an afterthought on the job.
