Due on completion
Payment terms where the whole price, or the balance, is owed the day the work is finished.
"Due on completion" is the simplest term there is: the job gets done, the customer pays. It fits one-day work, repairs, and anything where the contractor is not buying much up front. It is the default on most small bids.
Completion should be defined by what the customer can see: the system running, the floor walkable, the yard cleaned up. If the job ends with an inspection, say whether payment waits for it.
