Callback
A return trip to fix something on a finished job, usually under the warranty, usually unpaid.
A callback is the cost of a warranty. The faucet drips, the door sticks, the paint flashed: the contractor goes back. A few are normal; many are a sign of rushing. Callbacks are why markup exists on materials and why the rate carries a cushion.
Handle them fast and without argument and they turn into reviews. Argue about them and they turn into the review you do not want.
