Initial service and quarterly plan estimate example
One signature for the first visit and the plan. The per-visit price on the page is what keeps the fourth invoice from being a surprise.
"initial interior and exterior treatment ants roaches spiders, exterior perimeter and eaves, then quarterly exterior $110 per visit, free retreat between visits if needed, pets out 2 hrs"
Example figures for a typical initial service and quarterly plan job. Not a quote. Every line on the estimate came from the notes above. Nothing was added.
What to spell out on a initial service and quarterly plan bid
- What pests are covered, and that termites, bed bugs, and rodents are not.
- The initial price and the quarterly price, separately.
- The free re-treat promise and how the customer asks for it.
- What the customer does before and after: pets, kids, food surfaces.
On a termite job, the warranty terms are the product. Say what is covered, for how long, and whether it is repair or re-treatment.
The parts of this estimate
- Scope of work. 5 lines, one thing each, in the order the work happens. What is not included is on the list too.
- One price. $185. Not a formula, not a range. The scope explains the number.
- Timeline. Initial visit about 1 hour, then every 3 months. Including dry time, cure time, or permit time, so the customer plans around it.
- Payment terms. Due on completion. Nothing down. The customer pays when the work is done.
- Warranty. Re-treatment between visits at no charge.
- A way to accept. The customer types their name and signs with a finger on their phone. Legally binding under the E-SIGN Act, and recorded with the date, time, and the exact estimate they agreed to.
