Driveway and concrete cleaning estimate example
Flatwork is square footage and stains. The oil stain line is the one that saves the review.
"pressure wash driveway approx 900 sq ft, front walk, 2 car garage floor, surface cleaner, post treat for mildew, oil stains pre treated best effort, seal driveway optional add $380"
Example figures for a typical driveway and concrete cleaning job. Not a quote. Every line on the estimate came from the notes above. Nothing was added.
What to spell out on a driveway and concrete cleaning bid
- Square footage and the surfaces, one per line.
- Oil, rust, and tire marks as best effort, not guaranteed.
- Sealing as an option with its own price, or not included.
- Where the water goes, and that the lawn edge may get wet.
Stains that do not come out, like rust and oil, are the complaint. Say on the bid what you expect to lift and what you do not.
The parts of this estimate
- Scope of work. 5 lines, one thing each, in the order the work happens. What is not included is on the list too.
- One price. $310. Not a formula, not a range. The scope explains the number.
- Timeline. 3 hours. Including dry time, cure time, or permit time, so the customer plans around it.
- Payment terms. Due on completion. Nothing down. The customer pays when the work is done.
- Warranty. Missed spots touched up within 7 days.
- A way to accept. The customer types their name and signs with a finger on their phone. Legally binding under the E-SIGN Act, and recorded with the date, time, and the exact estimate they agreed to.
Questions pressure washing contractors ask about this bid
Offer sealing?
Yes, as an option on the same estimate. It is a second visit and a second price, and the customer decides when they sign.
What about the oil stain?
Pre-treat, say best effort, and say it in writing. An old oil stain is in the concrete, not on it.
Is this a real quote?
No. The numbers are example figures for a typical job so you can see how a complete estimate reads. Your price is yours.
Can my customer sign this on their phone?
Yes. An estimate sent from BidWriter Pro opens as a link. The customer reads it, types their name, signs with a finger, and pays the deposit by card. You get an alert when they open it and when they sign.
